TSU student won 2 Domestic Championship awards

Swimmers' competitions were held in Yoshkar-Ola and took place in the 50-meter pool of the local Palace of Water Sports.

On Saturday, April 9, a TSU student Olga Poteshkina swam 200-meter backstroke and showed the result that allowed her to be at the second step of the podium.

On April 10, the athlete won the gold medal in the 400-meter freestyle, setting personal best time (4:53.87).

Olga has two more distances ahead – 100 meters backstroke and 200 meters crawl.

The tournament in the capital of Mari El Republic (Yoshkar-Ola) will end on April 12, 2022.

Olga Poteshkina trains in Togliatti Olympic Reserve School No.10 called Olympus with coaches Alla Zhuravleva and Elena Belkova. She also studies at the Institute of Physical Culture and Sports of Togliatti State University.
